Our visit on Monday from Caroline Casey, our Water and Road Safety Development Officer was a great success. Caroline was very impressed with the work that went into the Water Safety Brochure and awarded each child a certificate for their participation in the Road and Water Safety Flag Programme. She commended the children on the work they had put in and presented the school with our new Road and Water Safety Awareness Flag. Well done everyone!

Congratulations to the students of St. Colman’s, who will be awarded a water and road safety awareness flag on Monday next. The children took part in a road and water safety workshop with Caroline Casey from Cork County Council and were set the task of creating their own water safety brochure, that will also be launched on Monday. Big thanks to 6th class on doing such an amazing job on the design and creation of the brochure.
