Day 1  June 9th – Activities with other classes

Day 2  June 12th – Staff Vs 6th Class – Relay events

Day 3  June 13th – Full day activities for all classes in the Cloyne GAA pitch

Day 4  June 19th – traditional Games – Parents invited to take part with their child’s class – see timetable below

Day 5 –  We have had a variety of coaches visit the classes to teach new skills, for example, Tak Wan-Do, basketball, GAA, etc

Senior Infants (Mr. Quinlan)  and     3rd Class                  10:00 – 10:30

1st Class (Ms Kenneally)                               12:00 – 12:30

5th Class                                                               13:00 – 13:30

1st /2nd Class (Ms O Callaghan) and 6th    13:30 – 14:00

2nd Class (Ms. Quaid)                                      14:00 – 14:30

 

Taekwon – Do coach Darren Buckley visited some of our class on May 25th and taught an introductory  Taekwon -do class to pupils. We really enjoyed this. Thank you Darren for giving up your time, we are delighted with our new skills!!!! 

 

 

We took part in Operation Transformation’s 10@10 on Friday 10th February 2017. Every primary school child in Ireland has was invited to participate in a mass physical activity for 10 minutes.

St. Colman’s N.S. was delighted to accept this invitation. See video below!

Jump into Spring Pedometer Challenge – 3rd to 6th Class

 

Starting on 1st February, 3rd to 6th class will take part in a pedometer challenge. Each day a pupil will wear a pedometer from 9 o’ clock to 2 o’ clock.  The Active flag will collect pedometers each day and record each class score – this challenge will run for 33 school days. Keep an eye on the score chart to see how classes are getting on.
